Today we celebrate another milestone in the Reactivation of the Repat in our community, as construction gets underway for the new Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation facility.
This $80 million investment in the second phase of the project is a key part of delivering on our commitment to create a thriving health precinct.
The new 48-bed facility will provide a high-quality modern and contemporary environment that will optimise patient experience and recovery, and promote health and wellbeing.
The purpose designed facility will deliver a patient and family centred service, offering research and therapy spaces, including a sports gymnasium designed specifically to complement rehabilitation services.
This will be an outstanding medical facility that will help people like Ryan (pictured above) in their rehabilitation.
